Offering flexibility with in-house or bespoke process templates
NIMA Integrity Management offers a high degree of flexibility by providing an extensive base library of process templates that cover most needs. Our in-house integrity experts developed these templates with methods proven in the delivery of hundreds of integrity assessments per year. In addition, our experts can create customized process templates to cover individual needs, or your expert teams can generate their own templates to match your specific processes. Pipetally Visualization
Rapid, intuitive and interactive visualization of in-line inspection results to get an overview of what has been reported, and where. Includes all anomalies and references (valve, tees and other fittings) and provides tables, charts and maps.
Integrity Sheets
Dynamic linear and spatial alignment of multiple data sets to convey complex information to the user. The user can view the entire pipeline at once or zoom into specific areas to enable the diagnosis of potential integrity problems where multiple contributing factors may be present. Various data visualization formats are available, including maps, tables and charts.
Material Property Verification
Delivering traceable, verifiable and complete (TVC) line-pipe material records with a representation of the "pipeline DNA" giving the strength and grade of each pipe joint and bend, plus wall thickness and joint length. Visualizations of independent populations of line pipes are provided together with map views to assist in further analyses.
Crack Inspection | Data Quality Assessment
Crack detection inspections use complex sensitive technology and provide vast data quantities. Quickly confirm that the results meet vital asset integrity management requirements by visualizing EMAT crack detection in-line inspection data in easy-to-understand charts. Verify that the data quality meets your needs, and identify issues that may affect integrity decisions.
Bending Strain Visualization
Simple and effective visualization and review of bending strain areas measured by IMU against reported deformations (e.g. dents, ovality, wrinkles), girth weld locations and satellite imagery. Results provide the user with the information necessary to prioritize bending strain areas and determine what further actions may be required.
Fitness for Service | Immediate Assessment
Quickly and reliably assess the acceptability and safe remaining ligament of metal-loss features reported by ILI in accordance with industry standards and best practice (ASME B31G [Level 1a & 1b], DNVGL-RP-F101 [Part B], Shannon, Kastner, NG-18). Display results in comprehensive graphs and produce summary listings.
Corrosion Growth | Box Matching
Quantify corrosion growth by comparing two in-line inspection (ILI) metal loss feature lists with “pit-to-pit” matching, plus segment the pipeline and assign safe characteristic corrosion growth rates in accordance with industry best practice. Visualize the results in clear intuitive charts and tables.
Fitness for Service | Future Assessment
Follow industry good practice and identify corrosion features that may grow to an unacceptable size within a selected time period using previously estimated corrosion growth rates (CGRs). Provide the inputs required for detailed repair planning and the definition of reinspection intervals. Display results in interactive charts and tables.
PHMSA Actions
Ensures regulatory compliance by quickly identifying the applicable anomaly response times from any ILI report according to PHMSA’s integrity management requirements in either 49 CFR 192 or 49 CFR 195. Results support the user in their repair planning and regulatory compliance processes.
CSA Compliance
Ensures regulatory compliance by quickly identifying all anomalies from any ILI report that may be classified as non-compliant with CSA Z662-19 Clause 6.3.4.2 and 10.10, based on the output of the FFS | Immediate Assessment process template. Results support the user in their repair planning and regulatory compliance processes.
Generate a high-level excavation and repair plan for a single or combined set of sentenced pipeline inspection data in accordance with a defined repair matrix, repair rules and user criteria. Create multiple plans where different repair methods could be evaluated in order to tailor the plan to suit the individual defect population and distribution.
AGS | Integrated Visualization
Generate a detailed and integrated assessment of your pipeline's external corrosion prevention system by overlaying and visualizing all available above-ground survey data, and other relevant information.
AGS | CP and Coating Condition Analysis
Confirm that your cathodic protection system complies with industry recommendations and identify any points requiring improvement by reviewing, combining and analyzing above-ground survey data from CIPS, DCVG and Test Post surveys.
AGS | Soil Aggressiveness Categorization
Detailed analysis of the soil characteristics along your pipeline to better understand corrosion potential and protection requirements. Categorize soil aggressiveness, and segment your pipeline based on soil properties such as pH, water content, sulfates, sulfides, chlorides, etc. in accordance with German standard DIN 50929/3.
AGS | Soil Resistivity Categorization
Detailed analysis of the soil characteristics along your pipeline to better understand corrosion potential and protection requirements. Categorize soils, and segment your pipeline based on soil resistivity.
AGS | ICCP Analysis
Your Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) system provides vital protection against external corrosion. Confirm that it is working effectively, and identify any point of weakness by reviewing the operational condition using historical data.
RBI | Aboveground Storage Tanks
Manage the integrity of storage tanks following industry best practices by defining inspection intervals and next inspection dates in accordance with API 581-2016. Includes estimation of corrosion rates, calculation of probability of failure and Level 1 consequence analysis.
