ROSEN recognizes that respect for society, the environment and conducting business in a fair, ethical and transparent manner are key to achieving our overarching goal of being a global leader in our business fields. We aim to have a sustainable impact by meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations.
Securing a sustainable future
We are committed to sustainability and reaffirm this through our ESG policies and programs in accordance with the objectives outlined in the following sections. These include mitigating environmental impacts, addressing relevant social issues and maintaining sound governance practices.
We align our company-wide ESG sustainability strategies with specific Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) to achieve the greatest possible impact. By incorporating the United Nations (UN) SDGs into our business strategies and practices, we not only fulfill our fundamental responsibility to people and the planet, but also set the stage for long-term success. The UN SDGs address the global challenges we face and cover all three dimensions of sustainability – social, environmental and economic.
ROSEN’s 10 ESG priorities are centered around 10 United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the environmental, social and governance (ESG) dimensions. We consider these SDGs to be where ROSEN can deliver the greatest impact.
Our environmental, social and governance (ESG) priorities
1. Continuously improve the efficiency of energy usage to reduce the carbon footprint of our products, services and processes.
2. Develop and implement improved processes and work with stakeholders in the supply-chain to reduce inputs and minimize waste.
3. Develop technologies, products and services aimed at ensuring access to affordable, reliable and sustainable energy for all.
4. Contribute knowledge and experience to industry initiatives aimed at ensuring access to affordable, reliable and sustainable energy for all.
5. Implement high safety standards and promote well-being and healthy lives for employees, their families and in the communities we work.
6. Support inclusive education and lifelong learning for employees, their families and in the communities we work.
7. Implement and foster a culture of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).
8. Consider the needs of marginalized groups (e.g. indigenous populations).
9. Align business practices with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and ensure that human rights considerations are integrated into our ESG governance mechanisms.
10. Engage with our customers, supply-chain and industry stakeholders on sustainability based on the premise that continuous improvement of our ESG performance can only be achieved through strong partnerships and cooperation.
